On behalf of the Government and people of Ogun State, I wish to extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Government and people of the People’s Republic of China as you celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of your great nation.
China’s journey over the past seven and a half decades is nothing short of extraordinary. From its early challenges to becoming a global leader in technology, innovation, and economic power, China’s story is an inspiring testament to the resilience, vision, and hard work of its people and leadership. Today, China’s influence resonates not only in Asia but across the world, including right here in Nigeria.
The relationship between Nigeria and China has blossomed over the years into a strong partnership grounded in mutual respect, shared values, and economic cooperation. Ogun State, in particular, has been a direct beneficiary of this enduring friendship, especially through numerous industrial collaborations and infrastructural development projects. We have witnessed firsthand the positive impact of China’s commitment to growth, innovation, and partnership.
This 75th anniversary is not only a time for celebration but also a moment for reflection on how we can further deepen our relationship. Ogun State remains committed to strengthening our ties with the People’s Republic of China, as we continue to explore new areas of cooperation in agriculture, manufacturing and technology. The values that underpin Chinese success such as innovation, perseverance, and collective effort are ones we hold dear in Ogun State, and we look forward to building on these shared ideals for the mutual benefit of our people.
